here's a CD panorama cover (yeah, it's wiiiide) art that I did recently.
This ran through a couple of revisions composition-wise reaching this final stage. The actual front cover part of the CD is occupied by the middle area with the saucer in dead center.
Screwed up the ellipses on that one... -.-
The zombie guys silhouettes were fun to do!

All in all, it was put together too haphazardly, I didn't have a good enough previz of what I was going to paint.
(ugh, client shouldn't read this...)

PS 7, no ref. about 5 hours maybe

the pyramids are getting somewhat of a trademark in my cityscapse, huh?

I thought I commented on this a long time ago. Can't believe I forgot to do so. This is really fantastic work. I can see where others would draw comparisons to Independence Day, I am Legend, and possibly many otehr sci fi classics. I also see influences of Roger Dean's Yes and Asia album covers. Still, this is a really neat piece of work. I love seeing you post stuff, and this is no exception. Well done H.
