First personal piece in quite a while which felt really liberating to do! :)
I had a lot of fun working on this for the first time in a long while...recently been very unimpressed with painting. :/

It's a redesign of the Creature from the Black Lagoon as you can see - done for CHOW.
I actually remember when I saw this movie as a little kid when it scared me to hell! :D

For some reason, this reminds me of Monster-X from Godzilla Final Wars.

Its a wonderful painting and a cool design but he looks far more like an alien that a sea creature from Earth. That aside what happened to his hand, Im curious about the story behind that.
