Yo, for the current CHOW at conceptart.org
Topic was Stilgar from DUNE, couldn't resist! :)

I having fun with practising characters lately...
note that this is a very open and personal interpretation of the character, I didn't wanna stick too much to the original description.

Anatomy certainly has some flaws, I didn't have reference.

edit: added the blue eyes, thanks foeo!

I pictured Stilgar older as well, beint the Sietch leader and stuff.
Great peicture anyway, just missing the important detail of blue eyes ;) .

I think the arms are a little to small, or maybe it's just the foreshortening? Looks really good though, i always love to sketch dune stuff. Always wanted to have a go at designing the ornithopter :plotting:

Ah, wonderful. Reminds me that I always wanted to see Good Ol'Blue Eyes Frank Sinatra on Arakis ;) .

Well, even old Stilgar was young one day ;) . Again, great picture :) .
