flattered, never flat or flattened though you're too groovy for that
unlimited potential for us all, and unleashing of a tiny aspect of it. Coming back to the 'arts' world, hopefully I'll have some stuff worth uploading soon, though I kinda hate my stuff one minute and love it the next
Anyway, geil deine fortschritte mit erleben zu koennen!
ach, danke, Mensch! Freu mich über das, was du schreibst! Ich kenn das, man ist eigentlich nie wirklich mit eigenen Arbeiten zufrieden. Ist aber immer nen Zeichen dafür, dass man sich verbessert Hau rein!
it was a pretty huuuge contest going on with a lot of international forums being involved. You could choose a team for your own, I went with CGSociety. Well, and the task was to create a powerful artifact user. See more details on the website: [link]
The details are stunning... You must have special knowledge about asian war suits design... Is japanese culture a passion for you? Do you prefer involve yourself into those kinds of works or in the others (like environnement, city concepts)?
I have indeed a thing for japanese history and Samurais in general. Gotta love the sophisticated armour and weapons they got. I studied their culture quite a bit, yes! And I also love getting really into it and learning about different subject matter before I create art based on it!
Okay! Samurais are quite a huge study... Such an interest is really nice to see!
I realise that my question wasn't really clear... Alright, so you use to study subjects before creating any original art... Are you sometimes just inspired and make concepts, just like that, like a mix of what you love? If yes, do you prefer study and create, or just getting inspired and create?
Tell me if im indiscreet, or too annoying. I'm just bored knowing nothing of the talented persons i watch. How do they get that, and so on...
haha, no prob, man! It's great to have people showing interest really! Well, it's not like I am constantly studying things especially in order to create art from it. I meant that I am just trying to learn as much as I can about the things that fascinate me so I can build a visual or conceptual library for me in my head so to say. Everybody creates art to express himself and you will always recognize the things in it that the artist is interested in. I love cities, architecture so I often have them as subject matter in my art Of course you will always need additional inspiration in order to really unleash your potential. Art is often about giving in to instincts and being intuitive, using all the knowledge you have build up over time.
I see what you mean. I've never thought about about it: i've always created art intuitivly, from what i loved... But that's true that passing a certain level, you must involve this art knowledge you've been creating from. But that involvement will be different considering the things you try to create... I think that new design, if you manage to think about a precise modern style, you will can easily create from it, whereas things like Samourais, since that they are from an other time, you'll have to learn more things, history, and so on... Well, maybe it is just a case of culture differences... Surely... I'm not quite objective... What do you think?
yeah, culture is certainly involved as well. Since I am half-japanese I am naturally interested in japanese culture etc. Samurais being no exception of course. Every artist just induces personal preferences into their art, it's just natural. But that's what makes artists individual and unique.
haha, nah, don't reckon much of a chance for myself. There are some BADASS entries around! This contest is international with russian and korean forums even being involved! Their entries are totally crazy!
