Enough with the crappy submissions lately, here is the real deal!
My submission for the Strange Behavior Challenge at CG Society.
It surely is one of the most time consuming artworks I have created so far. But I guess, it doesn't beat some of the commissioned artworks I have painted...
Well, frankly, I just don't know how long this took.
I really wanted to go for a setting in a japanese metropole right at one of those diagonal crossings -just love those.
As you can see, the image is crowded with details, a lot going on everywhere. It's not the way I normally work and that's why I wasn't too happy with the image for long. But I have come to like it now.
I like the fact, that I was pushing myself and, well, challenging myself for this contest creating a pretty fleshed out illustration.
The LCD shows a scene from AVP. Apart from everything else, I painted that one from ref.
Oh yes, I HATE that film btw and only used a scene from that because it fits the concept.
The crushed airplane is of course (what else?) my White Queen 3D model.
Most importantly, check out the detail shots! [link]
These aren't even 100%, more like 60% , varying also!

It was 5000x2808 px at 300 dpi
The guy who is still watching likes it somehow, and the other guys point and laugh at him behind his back.
