Enough with the crappy submissions lately, here is the real deal! :D
My submission for the Strange Behavior Challenge at CG Society.
It surely is one of the most time consuming artworks I have created so far. But I guess, it doesn't beat some of the commissioned artworks I have painted...
Well, frankly, I just don't know how long this took.

I really wanted to go for a setting in a japanese metropole right at one of those diagonal crossings -just love those.

As you can see, the image is crowded with details, a lot going on everywhere. It's not the way I normally work and that's why I wasn't too happy with the image for long. But I have come to like it now. :)
I like the fact, that I was pushing myself and, well, challenging myself for this contest creating a pretty fleshed out illustration.

The LCD shows a scene from AVP. Apart from everything else, I painted that one from ref.
Oh yes, I HATE that film btw and only used a scene from that because it fits the concept. :D

The crushed airplane is of course (what else?) my White Queen 3D model. :P

aw avp, why? thats a terrible film (crappy ineffectiv paul WS anderson). that aside, this pic makes it look good. awesome pic as per.

That is most amazing, it looks almost like you painted over a photograph; the details are very superb! Not to mention the lighting too. :) Lol, AvP. xD
