Can't believe I actually took my time between all the work I need to take care of at the moment and chunked this one out for that 'Bring your Vision to Life' contest! Clients should prolly not read this *cough Anway, those prizes are too tempting! Interestingly, I looked at the topic and for some reason, this weird image popped into my mind almost instantly.
Little low-tech African kid Ndugu saving his hometown village from Genocide... or something like that. ._.
took about 6-7h I think, modelled those tins Basically no ref. except looking at random photos for inspiration.
--- edit: bah, not even in the 50 finalists? :/ Well, whatever, this turned into a good personal piece for myself
I think the composition and the kid himself look great, I'm not sure that the high tech guy conveys "Evil" necessarily though, its only through eliminating the concept of a poverty stricken child as the villain that I really came to the conclusion of who was good and evil.
Great depiction and definitely an original entry! Amazing techniques here as always and why not take a little time to enter? It can only help your clients in the end, right? Excellent piece!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
