lol "daily dose of ambient light" easy solution just adjust your curves to make all the shadows darker for space stuff

though heres me saying this to you whom has probably been doing this muuuch longer than me, excellent work as always man.

always fascinates me how you can get so much detail out of such simple shapes but somehow you always manages to amaze me

call it bounce light and no harm done

if space art always had realistic lighting we could only see stuff, that's hit by direct light, everything else would be black. but you never know, maybe there is a huge blue planet reflecting light onto the space station?
