Unicorn Valley 2 by Hideyoshi Unicorn Valley 2 by Hideyoshi
part 2 of the Unicorn franchise lol

Some practice foremost I guess, the composition is kinda chaotic. I think cropping this in the middle would result in a decent upper half painting ._.
That bloody unicorn on the left nearly killed my nerve, in the end I just googled a photo, pasted and overpainted. Fail much.

Shit, I forgot the rainbows and heart-shaped bubbles.

What kind of gradient usage do you employ to get that awesome atmospheric horizon in this picture?!

I have no eye for composition... I do have an eye for chaos, though, and this is it X3

The whole image is very very nice, and it's not so "happy-prancy-lahv" like you would expect. Very good. :)

I find that you pasting a photo of a unicorn quite hilarious. It does look quite cute. I thought it was a pony before reading the title.

no, you're supposed to add flares and rainbows and heart bubbles and everything afterwards, in Photoshoop!

Mehr after-thought also.

It's not a fail because it is entirely unimportant to have the gift to draw unicorns. Except Charlie, Charlie is a real stylish unicorn.

But for the rainbow, It would fit gorgeous (!) between those two mountains that look like spaceships about to fly into space and my mind is yelling at me, calling me a dumbass to always interpret pictures with weird thoughts...

anyway! I really like how you created the distance and how the deserted valley turns into a green landscape. It has a different feeling than the first picture, which seemed quite more peaceful, but it is both well drawn. The only thing I wonder about are the spikes coming out of the ground, they seem a little displaced. What was your idea for those?

thanks a lot! :) Actually, I didn't start this piece with the thought in mind that I wanted to make Unicorn Valley 2. It just happened to look kinda similar so I went with the title. And slapped in 'Charlie'. lol
And ask Charlie why he put those spikes in the ground...
