Wandering Mountain - updatedby ~Hideyoshi

Done for the EOW round 100, interpreting settings from 'the Neverending Story' by Michael Ende.
For upload here, I actually took out the figures and the building structure on the mountain because it killed the feeling of scale.

I think something is still throwing off the scale relations (guess it's the variation of levels of detail)
I am also still not sure about color palette (was tweaking around quite a bit which I usually don't do)

Sorry for not answering comments at the moment, I kinda feel stressed out or... eh, socially detached... (wha?!) but I always read all of them curiously!

This artwork is really well made! I hope I could reach this level of achievement.
Can you give me some tips about "how to do realistic mountains"?
